What is SoftLakeCity?
Softlakecity(TM) is a project established in 2005. It started as a test if it can launch me as a softwere author, to figure out is it still possible like in the old days of home computing to make some small and useful software in after-work hours and be interesting despite the fact that there's no big or small company behind you. Another objective was becoming important very soon: to promote me and my new small team of (3 at this moment) chosen IT professionals to employers all over the world. We are an educated and young people with years of experience ready to work fulltime or halftime preferably on distance. Send us a message about your ideas.
I got the idea for Softlakecity while I was living in Italy and started to work on it when I moved back to Serbia and Montenegro and considered going to Poland - so Softlakecity is truly virtualy based. In fact, the name came while I was in a train in Switzerland. Our team is based in northern part of Serbia and Montenegro. My professional technical experience is mostly based on Microsoft platform. My main points of interest and experience are information systems and databases, IT security and internet programming. Programming languages: Delphi/assembly combination, C/C++ and recently .NET and C#. To prove my expertise I could give you the list of my employees. I have also gained some recognisable certificates and I'm published as an author in USA (check out the monster book for CompTIA A+ exam), Serbia and Montenegro (a book, articles in IT magazines, published work on an international conference etc). I hold an Expert Rating certificate for Borland Delphi (hold a record), I have many references for Delphi such as that I was employed by a Borland representative in my country to teach Delphi courses for IT professionals.
Certificates: MCP, MCDBA, MCAD, MCT, Microsoft Solution Framework 3.0 (MSF) exam, Sophos Antivirus Certified Technical Support Engineer, Delphi Certified Expert.
