How to export e-mails back to Outlook Express

An easy and safe way to migrate from Outlook Express to another mail client is by "outlook Express Mail Salvation and Migration" utility.
This manual explains an alternative way to do this (without the export function).

Create or choose a new empty directory for your messages. Start the "Outlook Express Mail Salvation and Migration" utility and load your e-mails (the "Open" button). Once you see your emails click on the disk button (on the picture) and choose Save All Emails as Separate .EML Files to save them to an empty directory.

Now you can import those emails back to a Outlook Express by simple drag'n'drop operation. Open you newly created directory with email files (*.EML) and select them (all). You could use "Windows Explorer" to open this directory. Now open Outlook Express, and drag the files to Outlook Express. Here is a step by step guide in pictures:

Left click but HOLD the left mouse button. Now move mouse pointer to Outlook Express area (Inbox area for example). Once you're in Outlook Express area stop holding the left mouse button. You've imported the messages

Additional information: If you don't want to export all the messages back to Outlook Express you can save and drag only some of the messages. You could right click a message in our utility to see the "Save It" option.
